Making Cave Crystals at Home

Have you ever wondered how cave crystals are made?

In this lab, we will show you how to make hanging crystals at home with items from your kitchen!

Materials:

● 2 Glass Cups or Jars

● Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate) / Baking Powder also works (need to put in 3x the amount)

● Hot Water

● 1 Plate

● Yarn or Cotton String (6-8 inches)

● 2 Paper Clips

● Food Coloring (Optional)
