About Us
We are students at Colorado College who are working to increase access of fun, exciting science to more kids!
Prior to COVID-19, we mentor elementary students (3rd-5th grade) at local Audubon Elementary by volunteering to teaching science lessons and lead labs on a biweekly basis. Our work has increased interest and curiosity of Audubon students in the sciences. By learning to guide and advise elementary students throughout the lifecycle of an interactive experiment, our members are able to learn critical teaching skills while also pursuing a passion for science.
COVID-19 has had a negative impact on K-12 education, specifically science education. Thus, we work to offer resources, such as ideas for at-home labs, worksheets, and other online resources, to help students and parents enjoy and learn about science at home!
